Well my brief browser affair with Camino has ended. It was great while it lasted, but the lack of a built in spell checker was really starting to annoy me. So a few weeks ago I downloaded Flock and for the moment, couldn’t be happier! Flock is billed as a social web browser and as such has built in photo (flickr) service, favorites (del.icio.us) sharing, and blog (wordpress, etc) posting capabilities. But what I really like about Flock is it’s built in RSS news reader/aggregator which presents all your feeds in a very visual newspaper layout.
If I had a rating system, Flock would receive 5/5
Flock is available for Mac, Linux, and Windows.

Paul,
Nice review and screenshot. It would interest me to be able to see your subscribed feeds – particularly in the automotive and “tech” categories. Any chance you can share your blog-roll, along the lines of what bloglines allows you to do (i.e. link to your subscribed feeds)?

Taylor
Sure thing Taylor. I’ll export the blogroll and post it here.
That would be great Paul! Bump!
Here you go:

Import it into Flock. I’ll try and get this file converted to html next week. Enjoy
Thanks man. OPML works fine for me. Super!
It’s great to see 1Passwd in that screenshot
I switch browsers so often I can’t live without it; hopefully by time you get bored of Flock we will have OmniWeb and Shiira support too
What are the two icons to the left of the 1Passwd logo?
Also, I didn’t know Flock had spell-check for textareas. Do I need to install an extension? I’m on Flock 0.7.1 so maybe it is a new feature.
Dave, you’ve got a really great app! On my theoretical rating scale, 1Passwd gets a 6/5
The two icons… the one closest to 1Passwd opens the news reader page, the other opens Flock’s photobar. Oh, and the spell checker seems to be built in. I’m using version 0.7.6.
